As a guy with a new Huracan EVO and 812 on the way, I’m more excited for the Z06. I was always in love with the 458 sound but never wanted to own one out of warranty. Now I can enjoy a 8600rpm FPC V8 with a warranty.

I’m not a car elitist like some here (owned a bunch of different brands) but I definitely prefer fun sounding cars over better driving, worse sounding ones (aka Turbo S for example). This car ticks the boxes for me!

Super excited for my allocation to come in. Rapid blue 3LZ with black leather, yellow stitching, yellow belts and yellow brakes.

Can’t wait!

Although i can't wait for aftermarket companies to develop an even louder exhaust system for these cars. Make that supercar scream!!

Those are rear wheel numbers.

What was it originally? 599rwhp and 424ft lbs of torque?

Both hp and tq look fine. It’s a dynojet dyno and a RWD car, so about 10-12% drivetrain loss. I was just trying to troll the M3 guy.

But people do ruin the base C8 with those doors. A friend had one at his shop...with those doors. Funny thing is, doing that to the doors makes it harder to get in & out of the car. Dumb

I built a 3LZ non Z07 for $140k. $25k for CF exterior and interior bits. Pricing is outrageous imo and there are MANY options. It makes GT3 seem like a bargain at $200k.

I’m way down on waitlist so chances are slim I will get one in next 2yrs.

Tell me about it. We get it, saying it over and over again isn't going to change anything. I personally don't understand the fixation with labeling the C8 (or any other car for that matter) a supercar. Would you not buy it if it wasn't? What are you trying to prove? Who cares what other people label your car as? If you like it, buy it an enjoy it. You should enjoy your car for what it is, "supercar" or not, not what others perceive it to be or because of the category it occupies.

CF bits might delay a build.

Plus if you’re not tracking the extra aero will slow the car down. Austin’s car 154 in the 1/2 would easily be 160 or higher if it was a non z07 equipped car.

But I do admit all the extra bits really highlight that this car is a supercar for sure.
