We have 8 bottles of bubbly rose wine with us a d since I'm banned from heavy labor my baby sis is actually now taking down the remains (the leg?) of the fireplace.

That's love guys. She's never operated any of these machines but she needs me to get back to form so badly she is willing to go at it while I just haul out shit.

I took off abt a foot. I might be bad at taking out fireplaces but I've painted a metric fuck ton of cielings and yet I always do it without a hat on. If I were smart I would think this is my way to cut off the troll hair every two years or so.

Honestly, I had the best weekend ever on any construction site. On Friday I got to blast music with my bestie and we danced the night away while hauling around bricks and heavy tools. After that was done, we carried out the old floors and sadly we came to our senses before we decided to slam a brick wall with the thingy you can hide it with. At that point we were more than mildly drunk and it was five am.

Saturday was spent dying as one must after a few bottles of very bad tasting but we'll named wine. today I got the new side all glossy white and I told the guy who was supposed have my windows delivered three weeks ago to go suck a dick. I've been their customer for 13 years. If he can't be honest with me about the time table I can live through one winter with the old windows.

That all said, hubby did great with the new sewers. He's been at it for months now it seems, but that just shows why I have been banned from that side of the project. I have the patience of a hungry house fly where as he can do a project with nothing to show for for weeks and not complain about it.

J's bedroom got done today. He told his bestie that his plan is to look so pathetic in his small room that I will double it in the summertime. He also bought a bunny on my Cc so I'm upgrading his status from the nice kid to a devil in hiding as of this weekend.

Well, take solace from the fact that by the sounds of it, your husband was there to witness most of them. By now, he should have enough material to speak to you about it for years upon years.

And that's what you wanted right? For him to talk to you more...kudos to you. It's not how I would have done it, but I have no doubt it will be effective.

I still want some more before and after pics. And are you actually connected to a sewer? I would have figured it was out of town and would be a septic tank. So is that all done and working well now?

This is and 5km from the city center so we have real sewer lines here.

I haven't taken many before shots. The house was in a really sad state and that pissed me off too much. I'll post what I have later today.

Joe, all the pics i can find are filled with kids and I'd be happy to email them to you but I won't be posting them. I did find these. I took the first pics after spending a few days emptying this room. Yes. Emptying.

Yeah.. That's after days of hauling stuff out. It was so fucking weird. One pile had old sheets nobody could need or want, the next one had tea pots worth thousands. I was going to skip one old suitcase because I'm lazy and then I found a glass statue worth of thousands from it. That kind of got me go slow....

Anyway, I tried to take the pic from that place today again.

This is what I've been working on for two days now. By me, I mean I had absolutely no business around the grey thing being put on, my patience is not exactly world class.

It dries funny, but today I put the first layers of super duper extra white on it, and I fucking love it.
