Yes, even model numbers go to EV, while odd numbers are for ICE. So, 6 is EV.

Audi’s department has made some puzzling choices lately, like badging S-Line models almost identically to S/RS models. There’s no front badge anymore, among other changes.

If they drop the V8 for a V6 PHEV, we might see far fewer options for fast wagons, which would be a shame.

RS6 was a special fast wagon.

Y'all crack me up.

Status? Who are you trying to impress? Is it a status car among the wealthy? No. Is it a status car among car enthusiasts? Absolutely. Some of you couldn't get laid without a car and it shows.

I live a couple of hundred yards from a guy whose kids wouldn't be caught dead in anything below $300K and whose housekeeper drives a nicer car than most of you...and I still wouldn't trade my life for his.

Some of you truly lack perspective and humility.

It was a status car amount enthusiasts.

I'm with gblansten now, just get a plaid and throw CCBs and coils on it. At least that sucker will turn and stop, however the steering / TC tuning is all garbage so it will never "feel" fun to drive. Then again, new-age steering on BMWs isn't that great anyway.

Oh and the tesla will be better on consumables like brakes and tires because... it. weighs. less.

And you very well may be right about the dynamics aspect of it. I was strictly speaking about status amongst enthusiasts. An M5 will always be an M5. A Plaid will always be...well...a Tesla. And I have nothing against Teslas or BEVs in general.

Here's another review for the M5.

I like that he covers all the real world use cases for this type of car.

Love the "Injection molding" comments - it's just plastic.
