Haha, we can, kinda not even a new thing since we've had the right from the 1500 century.

You get a tiny tax cut if you're married, and also as an insurance if one of you die that makes sense. The taxes you'd need to pay then can easily do real damage there.

Also around that time I was told that if I want to have kids, I better hurry up. For a 23 year old that was a huge hit, even if I had never wanted any until that very second. We decided to get everything sorted so I we were going to end up in infertility treatments, we had the things done to show we are ready to have kids. They are hard to get into, so we didn't take any risks in not having all our shit together.
