Sleet here, slowly changing to light snow.

Wiarton Willie is calling for early spring.

Light drizzle and above freezing here until late evening. The news is saying school buses are already cancelled for tomorrow.

Finally started snowing here. Hopefully we get a break between today's snowfall and tomorrow's so I can clear the driveway.

We were scheduled to get the winds at around 4 this morning but nothing so far. We're in a little pocket here in my neighborhood and sometimes we don't get any wind even when it's blowing all around us. Hope that's the case this time because we've had our fair share lately.

Evening news weather folks have always been my bugaboo. One of the very few jobs where you can be wrong half the time and still keep your job. If you don't know, say you don't know. But showing 3"-6" one second then saying "but maybe as much as 2ft" the next second is BS.

Here comes Round Two. Maybe this one will dump on us. Round One left 3"-4".

I say the same think all the time. My wife laughs at me because I get mad all the time when my local news is on and the weather person comes on. Chance of snow, maybe some sunny breaks, most likely some rain in the afternoon and maybe a chance of freezing rain. It drives me nuts. I think they are the only people that can guess at their job, right or wrong they never get fired. Give me a job like that

Pretty much the same here.. The plows were already by on most side streets this morning. I'm a bit disappointed in all the hype of snowmageddon 2.0, though I guess we had pretty high temps and a lot of it came down as rain/sleet.

The forecast is showing nothing for the rest of the day now.

Rain all day yesterday turning into ice over night with the dropping temps. Calling for between 6-10 inches of snow on top of the ice throughout the day. Should be an interesting day to say the least. Then subzero temps for the low over the next 2-3 days.

Where are you spring? lol

Cincinnati here. Yesterday was a mad house. No bread or milk in the local targets and krogers. Ice melt was nowhere to be found. I've seen multiple plow trucks today and all it has done was rain. My plant shut down due to "national emergency". I will never complain about a day off but it seems to be a bit preemptive.

We got another 2" over night and it's still coming down. Radar looks bleak, like it's going to snow all day and into tonight. Another day of periodic shoveling to stay on top of it.

We got about 10cm last night and we're suppose to get another 15-20cm today. It was starting to already when I left the house this morning.
With a driveway that size, you need a snowblower, even a small one helps a lot.

I've thought about a blower over the years. But this year is the first time in 2 or 3 years where I've had to shovel more than once. We had one storm last year that produced enough snow to shovel. For that one my neighbor who has a plow on his tractor came by and cleared my driveway. I can't see buying (and having to store) a blower I rarely use. It'd be nice to have on the few days I need it, but it'd be a PITA the rest of the time.

A friend of mine uses a leaf blower for snow. For the light stuff, it works well. Not so much for the wet, heavy stuff.
