I think I have the value of the teapot wrong. It's hundreds not thousands but it's from a series that will end up costing me more than th fucking house.

Yeah.. That's after days of hauling stuff out. It was so fucking weird. One pile had old sheets nobody could need or want, the next one had tea pots worth thousands. I was going to skip one old suitcase because I'm lazy and then I found a glass statue worth of thousands from it. That kind of got me go slow....

It dries funny, but today I put the first layers of super duper extra white on it, and I fucking love it.

I'm actually really liking what I'm seeing so far, originally I was thinking why remove the fireplace, but it does look pretty clean right now. Will you be putting in a newer fireplace, or just boarding up the chimney pipe?

Very neat, I love seeing these projects.

I've been known to walk on through various homes getting built in my neighbourhood when its just in the process of being framed just so I can see the layout of what I think it will look like. I'm sure the owners don't appreciate it, so I never tell them, and I do it after hours around 6 or on the weekends when the builders aren't working. But it's super interesting.

That parquet could not be saved. Even before I dropped the fireplace on it, it had water damage spots (condensation water from heating pipes) and I honestly hate that three prong (?) style. That's from the new side, I'm building a kitchen to the corner behind the fireplace, see the new sewer poking there next to the door I'll take down when I have the time. The whole space is 70m2 and on the new side so fuck it all is the philosophy.

If it helps, I had a nervous breakdown over what to do with the foors. You can't mess with the style much, it needs to be the element that integrates the two sides. Since we have kids and pets (includes now a fucking rabbit), it was the usual 2-5 years and redo or go ugly deal. I decided to do broad plank flooring after I exhausted all other options.

I'm putting in a new fireplace, a backing (bake a cake, baking, yeah, no c) oven. That'll serve as the heating too since I absolutely love cooking with those. We have a fireplace in the common room (?) too, and that'll serve as the looking at fire place for us (could be a finn thing. I could sit there for hours but I can't stand watching tv).

I'll send you pics! It's funny how you can basically smell my desperation to restore it from them. A perfect storm for me this is.

The best way to tell you how busy I've been in the last month is our diet.

I have 7 lbs of sausages in the fridge. No milk. I don't think I've eaten a meal in a month. The closest thing to a salad was the wine last weekend. My coffee, which I haven't had either, I miss food.

Thanks, the design is mine, I'm a big enough shit to claim that word for my epic guidelines (" fish. Fish with snowy edges. Has to be rough can't be regular. Go at it!") but I don't have two functioning shoulders yet to do shit like that on my own. I'm building the floor tomorrow (And probably a week from now still) and I found spots to put on the floor just now. You can buy a thousand different light thingies if you put the to the ceiling but apparently that didn't bring out the artistic curbs (yes, I used those words in public today) in the correct way it was designed for.

I may not have a bathroom, or a kitchen, or a laundry machine or a bedroom, or a bed or clothes but hey, that wall was urgent!

What's THAT run??? I had a nightmare the other night that both turbos went out on the e90, and they were talking $1800 per, and since they were inline pairs

The what? The 2inches under the ceiling? I'm painting it tomorrow. I had to work on it today still cuz the highly paid artist (father-in-law, I had to make him coffee) had left a few bald spots there.

Can't get crown molding to fit snugly? Should of thought of that before going all icing on the whole wall
