thanks guys! its nearing the end and I'm not sure I want it to be over just yet. its definitely too hot to cruise around in a car with no AC- but I can't wait to drive it.

Well I ended up finding a set of 17's and I think they will look great. I also got around to trimming the interior pieces to accommodate my X brace. And got the x brace in for sizing. Getting close!

Just need glass installed and interior installed

Also trying to decide on gold bolts or silver. I'm leaning towards silver. Let me know what y'all think!

I really like the progress of this build. This car is slowly getting back to life, I like how the new wheels compliment the color of the car.

Finally got the glass installed with new seals and got the car on the ground. I have a nasty exhaust leak so it'll go back on stands soon, also I think 15's are too small so I'm selling the wheels.

I built an eg hatch back in the early 2000's.. Miss the simplicity of those cars.

This is making me miss Tennspeed & Import Alliance. We used to go to Wynn's Burger place (I forget the actual name) in Cool Springs across from the movie theater.

I grew up in Brentwood/Franklin and went to Brentwood High. I was the cool guy in the mid 2000s running around in the green '98 240.

I love checking in on your build, even if it's for a new glass install lol!

This has been such a great build - I can only imagine how badly you want to be done with it so you can play around! I never had one of these hatches, but they always had a soft spot in my heart for them.

haha honestly the build is the most fun part! there's a few things that I hate doing- like brakes and window seals- but overall I've been having a blast.

I took a video but I don't know how to upload it. any help?
