Never had either one, and don't think I ever would. Maybe on a dare or a bet.

Made me remember an old TV show hosted by Joe Rogan - Fear factor, where they ate all kinds of things, like live bugs and such. Plus did other scary stunts.

PS - who knows, bugs might taste better. lol

I think blood pudding is similar to blood sausages. My Argentinian bro-in-law makes blood sausages all the time. I like them a lot, but they're definitely not for everyone. They've also got a different texture than you'd expect, which causes people to forget about the actual taste

Years ago I was served prawns and pineapple n soft cheese at a restaurant. The prawns(chef error) were uncooked!
I experienced a weird crunchy feel in my mouth on taking it out 2 eyes peering at me.
Since then I have a bit of a psychological aversion. I used to love eating prawns prior to that.

There is also a dish called tatar which is raw beef mixed with raw egg and eaten uncooked.

Youre welcome, Love cooked haggis as an occasional item. In the same vein another Scottish dish with a deceptive name is 'black pudding'
