Black Sabbath - Sweet Leaf
True story: I was not introduced to weed until 1972 as a 24-year old sailor with a Top Secret Special Intelligence security clearance, which was definitely in jeopardy if the Navy found out about my drug use. That was about the time I bought my first Black Sabbath LP and listening to the album under the influence was mind-blowing. I did not use very many times or for very long, but of course still had the album. Later that year I listened to an open-reel tape of Sweet Leaf and other songs on the album in a library on base at Pearl Harbor; it had been months since I had done weed, but listening to the music with headphones gave me the high as if I had just smoked. I later read somewhere that THC could be retained in the brain and released under the right circumstances; I guess that was what happened that day -- getting high on the music alone!
