We had an honest 6 inches (15 cm) of snow yesterday. With temperatures poking 50 F this afternoon and lots of sun, most of it is already gone.....

What is the forecast this weekend? Will it be cold enough for snow? We're supposed to get hammered with that storm, but it looks like the temps should be warm enough that it is rain and not snow.

Snowing. Maybe a half inch so far. Not supposed to get much, though.

Sunny, 59, with wind advisory for gusts to 35MPH. Should warm up slightly this weekend after the wind stops.

Sounds like this...

Got some more white BS here again. It'll be gone by Monday.

We are under a Winter Weather Advisory for 2-4 inches of snow tomorrow. The model run that I saw this morning showed us starting out as rain, and quickly changing over to snow. Most of NJ, NYC, and Lawn Guyland were looking at more rain than frozen, with no advisories issued at the time.

At least for us, the bomb cyclone appears to be a dud. Any snow that does fall won't stick around for long, with forecasts of highs in the mid-50's F all of next week. Wednesday's 6 inches here is already gone.

It's 57 F and sunny here right now, and the yard was a muddy mess when I went outside a few minutes ago.....

That looks uninhabitable. How do you survive in such conditions?

Finally past the cold spell. Mid-50s today, but then into the 60's starting tomorrow.
