I wear heels about three times a year. I'm either barefoot or in running shoes or combat boots.

I tend to pick my shoes for comfort so even the heels I wear are quite comfortable, though they don't look like it.

You get used to it. Although I think some people are better than others. I can walk around all day in my office in heels, but I don't get how people do it outdoors (uneven pavement, etc).

I had no issues with that either, but I do prefer really high heels when I wear them, I clearly have a complex about being tiny.

I do wear boots with a heel almost daily, does those count?

I won't wear high heels if I'll be walking around a lot. If it's a special occasion, then I will endure the pain but sit down every chance I can. But generally for a day at work, I'm fine.
