Waiting on the Touring, What should I get?

Long story short, I will be down a vehicle starting December 13th. I am number one on my dealer's list for the Touring, but I will probably not see the touring for another 2-6 months.

Ordered IOMG, 951M Wheels, Silverstone/Black, Carbon Trim, Driving Assistance, Executive, M Drive Prof, M CCB, & M Driver's Package.

I plan to buy a used BMW from the dealer, drive it, and trade it in once the Touring arrives.
I know I will incur a loss when trading in the temporary BMW, but I want to reduce that loss.
What model do you experts think will hold its value best to reduce my loss?
2024 X4 M40i 11,386 miles
2024 3 M340i 12,234 miles
2024 X3 M40i 14,965 miles

I know this is a first-world problem, and I appreciate your help.

Thank you.

Do you have a lease that is expiring, if so you can likely extend the lease.

If you have a really good relationship, you may be able to use a loaner car for a month or two. I have done this with a dealership, but have a 30+ year relationship between my family and that dealership.

+1 to extending the lease if it’s just a few months. Have done this a couple times because timing wasn’t right to jump into something new

I am currently driving my son's Wrangler. He has a co-op in CT starting in January. So I will ship his jeep to him in December.
I do not have an option to extend a lease.
