M5 G99 Touring vs Audi RS7 Avant

Audi renamed models (EV to even, ICE to odd numbers), and RS6 kind of becomes new RS7.

It was just spotted few days ago for the first time in camo. While details about the new Audi RS7 are still under wraps, speculation is swirling about its potential performance. What can we expect, the same/modified powertrain shared together with Cayenne, Panamera, and Lamborghini Urus SE.

Same as they did with the current generation.

This is quite a nice update for Urus - around 800 ps (789 bhp / 588 kw) and 950 Nm (701 lb-ft).

And we can expect G99 to weigh more around 100 Kg, and Audi on the other hand should have similar figures.

Design wise, BMW always more aggressive, Audi more sleek, and somehow I think RS7 will have a bit more premium feel in the interior. Based on new S5 interior.

What would you prefer more?

The RS7 isn't going to come with Lambo/Porsche level of power as they have a hierarchy within the VW group. So, I'm expecting it to be less dynamic and not as powerful as the other two.

Looks are subjective, time will tell. The new A5 looks good, but I'm not a fan of the new interior, alot of screen real-estate. But that's the new trend of who can fit 65 inches lcd in your dash.

RS7 Avant renderings look fantastic. Audi is the clear leader in German auto design currently. BMW design has jumped the shark. I also expect a better interior on the Audi.

Of course top tier cars will have better performance. And I think they'll do same this time. As they did with current gen, by using the same engine with slight updates.

RSQ8 591hp VS Urus 641hp
