Is this… Canadian dollars? This doesn’t appear to align with US pricing.

Whether Canadian or US, it is interesting to me that they omitted the "e" cars.

Those are decent sized increases. Do not like.

I'm surprised it took them this long, seeing as used car values have exploded insanely higher and MSRP really hasn't budged much.

Thanks Convid.

Either the Z4 missed the cut for a price increase or was omitted from the list.

Well they better not remove the touch screens, power seats, wireless charging etc if they plan on raising prices again. A fully optioned M340i is almost 84k CDN without HST as it is. Thats pricey - another 1500 on top while yanking options customers have ordered is a invitation to walk away from the deal.

Hyperinflation is real, folks. And the worst of the pain is yet to come.

The cars base pricing is still cheaper than they are in the US. The M4 Competition xDrive, has an increase to $94,300 CAD, which converts to $73,393.22 (Current exchange) The US pricing is already $78,800 without a price bump.

With the Canadian Price bump, the car is still almost $5k cheaper than our current US model. Unless, this somehow, isnt Canadian Pricing, either?

I actually saw a YouTube video (you can probably search that up very easily) and posted here. Somehow admin don't like that and replaced with a list 🤪

Sorry man. I have no much clue

This is bullshit. I should have had my car built in 2021 but It was kicked to 2022 because of parts. It wasn't my fault the car was delayed yet now I have to pay a higher MSRP?!

Canadian household incomes are also lower than US. Comparatively it's more expensive to own a car in Canada than in the US adjusted for income.

At least in the US market, BMW isnt offering any discounts as in the recent past and their net revenue has increased for each vehicle. For this reason, I was not expecting a price bump for all vehicles until next MY.

Sum of mid year bump and next MY bump is going to be at least 5% and its significant for a single MY.

But do those sales at or above MSRP benefit BMW at all? I thought all that money was being pocketed by the dealers. As much as I see this price increase by BMW as an inflationary response, I can't help but think it's partly that BMW wants a piece of the pie the dealers are enjoying right now.

Any ADM above MSRP goes to the dealer.

In this MSRP bump, a major share would go to the manufacturer with a small share to the dealer. I might be wrong.

Yeah I think we're saying the same thing. So these sales currently at above MSRP are benefiting the dealers, not BMW. This MSRP bump is BMW trying to get in on the action (in addition to responding to inflation)

But BMW has already increased their per vehicle profit by reducing / eliminating incentives for most models in the past year or so. This mid year price bump is pure greediness to increase their revenue.

I would not call BMW's Military Discount program "nothing". I have cars on order for customer and can offer as much a $3250 to them through that program. BMW does still offer some "APR" support programs on specific models, and their loyalty program. When you look at the last time BMW raised MSRP, it's been a long time while the price of everything else has increased enormously. I'm quite surprised that it's taken this long to see an increase. And, of course, the dealer may see a small single-digit percentage of the MSRP increase.

For those of you who think BMW is rolling in dough due to the pandemic, let me tell you my last month's sales volume is off nearly 75% from the months prior to COVID. We currently have four new BMWs in-stock and available for sale.

That's true I hadn't considered the reduction in incentives.
