M5 Touring allocation avalanche
There were 13 this morning, now showing 363!
Edit: it appears they did not pull from the order banks, so you're going to have to rely on your dealer getting the order correct and assigning the production number/allocation to a customer

To prevent mass PMs to me, this is a communication from BMW: M5 Touring allocations for January production were 1 per dealer (not including previous allocations)

As mentioned before. My dealer got a modifiable black/black. BMW did not pull from order banks. They modified the order and assigned it to me.
When it showed up the vehicles was marked as “3 - Priority Stock”. Now the vehicles is marked as “1 - Customer Sold”. No production date yet, it is at status 111. Hopefully I get a production date soon. Maybe it will be here in January. |

Your CA should be able to give you that information

I just ordered.
The Sales Manager told me it is in for a March production start. Could that change? He didn't know. He said that usually, when it is marked as "Customer Sold," it will improve by a week or two. |

In my BMW garage, the correct color is shown, but not the wheels. Should I ask the dealer about that, or do they all show a stock rendering?
I ordered the black 951M jet black wheels and it shows the bicolor 952M wheels. |

I don't understand why would BMW prioritize dealer standard orders vs custom spec allocations we are waiting for. Any updates on current allocation #'s? Is avalanche still on?

I wonder if anyone knows what is their production capacity per month G90/G99? Have they ever produced in the past enough M5's for each dealer to have a stock of several just sitting on the lot?

Some dealers got up to two head’s, as for customer orders I saw one at a dealer nearby and it was a October 11 production complete and arrived on the lot November 6th.

Mine is putting individual paint request in for approval....then I'll get a productiin week. I'm guessing I won't see the car until April or May.
