This should silence the folks about it being slower.....
There is no way I would choose the old E63 over the new M5. I would choose the F90 LCI over that car as well. Alan

So are the fat boy haters silenced? I remember a long discussion about power to weight ratio. We learned the true power figures recently and now we see it in action.

We will find out when F90 owners can test drive them regularly. I go back and forth between wanting to update or stay for a while with the F90. More than likely I'll get bored and buy whatever is best. Money talks, sales will be the only metric that matters.

No idea... maybe by design or fact of cold tires... not sure but in alot of these zero-x with launch control videos it's common . Even the launch control rpm isn't high, so don't know. Again, bmw never launches the best product the first year. Takes some time for seasoning..plus the new e63 and rs7 are coming...so leaves some room to counter.
We need data testing from the big magazines |

Out of the gate I want to state I like what I have seen of the G90 M5
Here is some perspective on the G90 M5 which I do not hold against the M5. Simple reality we face with sport sedans in this day in age. The G90 M5 is longer, taller and heavier (a LOT heavier) than a Macan SUV. All numbers provided are ‘from factory’. Looking purely at dimensions/weight, the G90 M5 is the new age of SUV . . . and the G80/82 are not far behind. Again, not a knock against the G90 as I do think it represents a very nice BMW ///M offering ///Avera Last edited by ///Avera; 11-21-2024 at 08:02 AM.. |

Lol. Just breaking balls. But when it comes to straight line stock cars, Plaid is the KING without competition. Especially with how cheap they are now. I would never own one but respect what it can do for that 1 trick

My brother owns a Plaid. Biggest piece of garbage I have driven since the mid 1990s.
