Just got a confirmation email from BMW. Logging in (My Garage) shows a G99 production number!

However the order shows Black on Black so BMWNA still needs to adjust it for the individual options (Techno Violet and Dark Violet/Black interior)...

No, I didn't have to do anything to have my vehicle added to the web site.

My allocation came directly from BMWNA to my dealer. We have been working on the order for some time. Nothing was visible on the website ("my Garage") until my allocation was assigned to my order. The first indication I had that my allocation came through was when I got the robo-email from BMW thanking for my order. At that point, I could click on link inside the email to log into My Garage and then see my Production number.

IOW: The vehicle was automagically added to "my garage" for me. I didn't have to add it. (However, I'm not sure that is the way its going to work for everyone...) The production number was visible at that point.

I circled back with my dealer and he said he saw it come through this morning as well...

I got my allocation on the 30th as well, I was told there were 15 G99 allocated in my province (Quebec ) production slot is in December! Order's in. Just waiting for an allocation. Isle of Man over Kyalami Orange, every option, including ceramics. Brother-in-law has expressed interest in the 2018 E63 Wagon it will replace.

Here in UK dealers appear to play this car down, I have a look last week at one, it does appear huge( but lovely), can’t figure out the back diffuser in polished black, the dealer one was already scratched to F**k

But a great company director buy, so well done BMW for getting in front of the various governments green agenda, I think if governments fund this car they tax the shit out of it!!

But I suspect not the barn stormer everyone wanted, test drive will come soon

Please keep us updated if they actually allow you to do full individual this early. I'm being told not yet. I passed on my build until I can get full leather and individual paint (And I want something not currently in the individual portfolio, but used to be).

That was my plan as well until I found out they won’t be doing full leather until two years. I wanted individual exterior and interior (w/ full leather) but since I can’t get full leather I’m going with standard colors until full leather is available. Individual specs can be ordered in March (in the U.S. at least).

We are going to do BOTH individual Paint and Leather. Not sure what exactly you mean by "allow you to do"...

My order is complete right now wrt everything but the individual paint and leather (it shows black on black). We have an allocation assigned and received a Production Number.

The next step is for BMWNA (and Germany) to authorize the individual paint and leather. (Dealers typically submit individual requests to BMWNA for approval so this is nothing new). BMWNA is waiting to get some info back from Germany before they update the individual options on the order. (Expected "Monday"...). I'm guessing they are just waiting to get an actual production week nailed down before they update the order and "set it free". We know the SOP on individual leather is "3/25" (per the ordering guide), but 3/25 has 4 production weeks in it. ...and BMW effectively needs to pick to one for a build slot.

So, if you mean "allow" to complete/submit an individual leather order (with allocation), then "YES". If you mean "allow" that order to be built "immediately", then I expect "NO".

Yeah completely understand the current process, and I think we’re saying the same thing. The issue is has BMWNA approved any individual builds yet? Have they tied them to a production date? It appears they’re giving production dates with standard options attached, not with any individual paint (which takes it out of normal factory line, I’m told) or any individual / full leather.

I guess I could build my order out with the individual color and individual leather color that I think I want and submit now i guess… But I kinda wanna see what full leather is gonna look like before I do it. I’m also asking about 2 colors that used to be M5 colors and part of the individual program but aren’t currently listed.

That all said, I look forward to seeing your car. When the wagon first announced I said I bet it will look awesome in Daytona or Techno Violet. My wife gave the big veto on purple, so I will need to go in a different direction.

The individual leather SOP is 3/25. If options "improve", you would still have a window to make changes to your order...

My G99 Individual order was accepted and approved today. BMWNA is expecting a build date of week 9 and confirmation is expected from Germany by Wednesday...

There are 2 special order colors (for the Touring) in the pipeline (including the one just approved today). Colorado Spring has had an approved one for at least a week. Both are in status 102

Yup, my "Individual Color" just posted today in "My Garage" (Was "Black" yesterday...)

The leather option still shows "black" but we are expecting that to update by Wednesday. (That's the option that's going to push the build back to March...)
