Leather seats care

For those with the Merino Red leather seats (or also orange/white), do you notice any dye transfer (from jeans) over time? Any tips to maintain a pristine leather color for daily usage such as a coating?

Also while we are at it, for baby seats owners, have you noticed any dent on the rear seat? I have seen a video where a G90 owner left a heavy camera on the rear seat for a few hours and it left a dent.

For the baby seat: I got the BMW seat protecting cover and that seems to do a good job so far

You can get the leather ceramic coated. My detailer did this for my Audi R8 using a leather coating by Modesta.

Otherwise, I use Swissvax leather care products. Cleaner and leather milk.

Although, I never wear denim so I can't speak to dye transfer from jeans.

I also have this problem especially after wearing Dark colored jeans. I use Me meguiars gold class leather cleaner. Just apply to the seat and steering wheel then clean with a microfiber towel. Yould see the towel gets darker after cleaning.

I did the Gyeon coating on both my G90 and X7 with white seats. I tend to wear jeans and dark treated cloth slacks. Clean it once a week and no issues.

Application is easy and something you can do at home.

Gyeon Leather Shield ceramic coating. I use this along with a gyeon mild leather cleaner on my white smoke merino leather. Works great! After coating it with the evo I’ve had zero jean dye transfer. I use the mild cleaner every two weeks, or when needed. The leather shield does not change the feel of the leather. Still very soft, and matte in appearance. Nor is there a lingering smell, at all.

I bought Gyeon Leather Shield and a bottle of Gyeon Natural Leather Cleaner for my Tartufo seats arriving soon. Another option is Geist Repel which also seems to be highly reviewed.

I like Colourlock and Koch Chemie products for leather.
