This is a thread about M539 restorations, not maintenance advice - there are specific areas of the forum for that. You won't get better advice here than there, because we're all active everywhere on the forum and not just in this thread. Your post is off topic here, because it's not specifically about M539.

Welcome to the forum this is how forums work. Got to stay on topic or it's just a mess.

It is not off topic simply because you claim it to be.

He has done work specifically pertaining to the e46 platform, across two different series. He has also done fuel system related work in multiple series. Given that this thread is full of fans of his videos, videos that include the aforementioned types of series, I deem it perfectly reasonable that more avid fans or wrenching enthusiasts would have the knowledge to be able to answer my question.

This thread is not solely dedicated to commentary upon recent videos. I say that as a very long-time fan of M539Restorations since pre-Covid, when he had under 1,000 subscribers. It is, genuinely, about community engagement.

Then I'd suggest you PM him via his screen name. That might give you a direct answer or via Youtube since there is a way to contact the content maker on there. Just a thought.

[QUOTE=Ambrozie;32419295]Fellas, I need some help.

I just picked up a 2001 BMW E46 325I, with only 11,000 miles on the clock. It has been sitting for 12 years. How would I go about siphoning out or removing the old fuel in the system?

I would watch his videos and see how he drains the fuel systems.

Fun watch, oddly enough it was kind of sad to see the old dojo completely empty. End of an era.
