I was expecting middle of December and this is what was said when i ordered, but it turned out that there is no production date yet, better check with the dealer. Allocations are quite few and production is slow.

Mine was supposed to be production complete on Nov 6. It's been stuck in Quality Control for the past week after zooming thru the first steps. My dealer is saying this time of the year BMW is notorious for being very slow updating the status and it maybe complete. Anyone else experiencing delays in status updates?

We're probably going to be on the same boat. I'm in DC and mine has been stuck on QC for about the same time. I believe they're usually 2-3 days behind in the app.

Production slot delays?

This is odd. My dealer (Ireland) is quoting an end-of-Feb delivery for a G90 ordered today.

In this video BMW of Austria claim to deliver the first M5 and that there’s now a 10-month leadtime.

Add what’s being said here, I don’t know what to believe.

My own is showing status ‘In Production 150 - 155 as of yesterday and is due into my dealer during second week of December for a Jan delivery. I placed my order in late June. However, I specifically requested a November build to get the 11Kw charger as nobody would register a car in 2024 in this market so there was no rush any which way.

I actually called them first. They were the ones who told me to call my dealer because it was supposed to be completed on Nov 6 and didn't have any additional information. I was told by my sales rep his GM told him about BMW being notoriously late about updating status this time of the year.

I'm a little puzzled by some of the build dates based on order dates. I ordered mine beginning of Sept and mine was supposed to be build complete on Nov 6th. For everyone else who had an order date much earlier and build hasn't even started was there just more people ahead of you in the order bank for that dealer?

I should note, my dealer got their first M5 on Tuesday so some are getting here. I'm hoping to go check it out this weekend.

If it’s on the boat I think it is, should be in NY by 11/27-28 and hopefully in my garage first week of December. Coming from F90 and F90C so it will be fun to compare.
