OT: New small rear wheel drive concept car
Being a child of the seventies I grew up with cars that were of the 3 box design. I am a big fan of them. The original Toyota Celica, Datsun 510 and of course the BMW 2002. While BMW likes to compare our cars and the 2 series to the 2002 they both bear very little resemblance.
I am not sure how I missed this but Nissan is now showing a concept car that will be REAR WHEEL DRIVE if they release it! What do you think? Original Concept http://jalopnik.com/the-nissan-idx-i...-mo-1502668046 |

My first car was a 1993 Sentra SE-R i got used....it was fantastic. I still miss it. I feel like that car was a direct descendant of the 510. Last edited by IEDEI; 06-20-2014 at 12:04 PM.. |

Looks cool! Interested to see what the production version actually looks like though.

IMHO the Toyobaru BRZ/FT86 missed the boat by being both too expensive and too light on power. If it would have had either hit the $20-$22K mark, or had more power for $30K, it would sell a great deal more. Hopefully this will come in at the low $20's and be affordable for young driving enthusiasts.
