I dont want to hear they sold out, they changed with the time, like any other thing that was successful for the past 20 years...

In my eyes, ICONS, unless i hear another song with a 4 minute guitar intro before lyrics kick in, (which i haven't heard for years, and WTF is a soulja boy anyways?? if i hear this stupid song on the radio one more time i swear i am going postal, but i'm getting off topic...) they still legends in my eyes.

Black was my fav. ... I haven't keep up with them much after that. One of my local radio stations has a "Mandatory Metallica" session daily around the time most people get off work. It's an hour or so segment of JUST Metallica and sometimes I can't stand it and gotta switch stations lol

Offtopic a little: I'm sick of hearing Nirvana songs... I switch stations for that too now.

Although I've never been a huge metallica fan, I do listen to a lot of rock so naturally I like some of their songs. I've always liked the unforgiven, enter sandman, fuel, turn the page, and I dissappear to name a few. They have had a lot of good songs over the years.

Slightly off topic, but I have always thought that lars, or however you spell his name, was an asshole. Ever since the whole napster thing, I have always wanted to see him go bankrupt.
