Absolutely! Did this in June and look forward to going back. Kinda like trying to run through Disneyland in half a day, lol. The staff are very welcoming and answer all questions to the best of their ability. I even inquired about the Orange peel look on the BMW paints and was told it is not there on purpose, just how the paint system works.

I did a tour of the Dingolfing facility when I used to live in that area and it was well worth it.
Got to see the metal stamping, assembly lines, robotic installation of the front windshield, etc. |

I loved it! Wife and I toured it 2 weeks ago while taking delivery of my M4. I liked see the process. They make the M4 there in Munich so it was cool to see how your car is made, then drive off in the new car.

I didn't do the factory tour as I've been in many Ford plants. But I really enjoyed the museum and the Welt.
As far as plants go, they're pretty interesting to go through, but once you've seen a few, they kinda get same old same old.

I picked up my 128i, my wife got to see how her 328xiT was made, and we had a nice visit to the museum. Definitely with the visit.

Did the factory tour in 2011 and again this March. Well worth the time, especially if you've been inside a North American plant. I worked as a student in a Chrysler plant, and the comparo was quite interesting.

Dunno about EU factory tours, but I did the one in South Carolina, USA where they build all the X models. Amazing! Loved it.

I grew up near Plant Spartanburg, so I've done the tour there many times. Went on the tour of the new X3/X4 assembly line while in SC visiting family a few weeks ago. Well worth the trip.
