wow. At SEMA too.

Any follow up or update on this incident? I want to know how they fixed it (if they did) and the Jeep driver's reaction lol

UPDATE: found a longer video!

Seriously. I didn't think anyone could make a Liberty Walk widebody look worse, leave it to America to represent!

The owner fucked up that 458 before it got hit by putting all those stupid decals everywhere. What a tool.

Lolz what a bunch of haters. That LB 458 is one of the most renowned tuner cars on the planet and highly respected. I've set it in person and it's drop dead gorgeous. Yes it has stickers on it but that's how sponsorships work...homeboy gets huge discounts on most of those parts.

No hating, the 458 is a drop dead gorgeous car, but this LB kit on that car just makes it look ridiculous. That rivet style kit would flow on an older curvy car, not on a Ferrari. That's my opinion, hence my comment lol

For sure it's not for everyone and it's extremely outlandish but it's a work of art and people interpret art differently!

Hard to say it's a work of art when it looks like a drunken typewriter pissed all over it.

Keep in mind that this was SEMA, one of the largest aftermarket car shows in the world. The stickers are from sponsors and the point was to gain attention for them.

Besides, it's not your Ferrari 458, so let the owner do what he wants with HIS Ferrari 458. When you start making the payments on it, you can tell him to take the stickers off.

So you don't like any race car then or any object for that matter that has sponsors? Maybe it's also a generational thing but all the kids I see at the startups in the Bay Area have their macbooks plastered with stickers . Cities like Portland, Austin, SF, LA, Seattle you see people with tattoos all over. This 458 is UNIQUE. You may not like it but that doesn't mean it's ugly to everyone's eyes

Trust me if this was some regular 458 nobody would give two shits about it but a lot of influential ppl in the aftermarket scene are talking about this because the LB 458 was such an iconic car

True, good reason for it in that case. Same as for sponsorship decals on race cars, it's advertising.

Bullshit logic. No one is telling him what to do. Judgement is free for anyone to make if its put up for all to see. The size of my bank account holds no reign over my ability to comment on it as I see fit. The owner isn't even here posting this, so no harm no foul, and no one to defend.

No, stickers do not make something unique. The Liberty Walk kit on it might help though. Race cars have advertising and that help pay for the sport.

Do you like things just because other "influential" people tell you to? Please form your own conclusions.

Why is this such a big deal? Everything damaged can be recreated and replaced.

This kit looks horrible on a 458 anyway. No flow what so ever.

LOL I don't get the big deal of this. Shit happens, and the jeep got into a minor accident just like all you you have probably gotten into. As for the liberty walk kit... everyone has different tastes, so quit complaining. There's Hummers and escalades on 34" wheels out there and while it isn't my taste, it is someone else's out there, so let them enjoy it.

To all the people complaining about the LB kit on here, no matter how much you nag, if you had a choice to own that Liberty walk 458 over your BMW, you'd run and make that switch in a heartbeat. I don't love the kit either but i'm sure the owner does, and that's who matters. I you could afford a ferrari, then just don't put the kit on.

And are people really worried about damages?... Lol the owner of the car owns the company that makes the damages spoiler, etc, and his main sponsor, LTMW, is a body shop. Their car will be back in no time and I doubt at not much cost either... so not a big deal...

Dvpouldar,

100 times out of 100 I will choose the 458 over the BMW.

Also, 100 times out of 100 times, I will choose the stock 458 over the LW 458.

If nothing else, at least the kit deletes the ridiculous Scuderia badges most owners tack onto the front fenders of moderns Fezzas.

As would I, but that still doesn't negate the fact that most people wouldn't say no to this car if they had the chance. Personally, I think Rob from Crook's and Castles's 458 is a much nicer example of a highly modified 458. Or, instead of spending 50K modding a standard 458, just get a Speciale. But again, to each their own.
