That grille they put on these cars is an absolute killer. What was the designer thinking?!? It's too bad because I think it could be a really good looking car with a proper front end. Not sure if you can spec a manual, I'm guessing no, but that's another killer for me.

Those wheels look like they'll be a total pain to clean.

Looks like I'm doing Bimmerpost a favour, giving them something to bash on. Funny thing is that there are always only two main arguments that have already been beaten to death: grill and manual.

This car looks amazing based on these initial photos! I love the grille! I had a GS Fsport for 1.5 years. When I first saw the IS Fsport, I was like damn, I wish my car has that grille and now they are putting it on GS F, nice, absolutely beautiful.
I sold my GS Fsport for a 5 Msport because although I loved everything else about the car, I just didn't feel it was sporty enough, particularly the super low-end torque and horrible artificial sound. The 5 is better in those areas, but worse in terms of interior quality and comfort. I repeated thought when I had the GS, that this would be a perfect car with 100 more HP and torque, and thus better sound as well. Maybe the GS F will be the perfect car for me! All reviewers have very good words about the sound of the RCF, so I am sure this one will sound great as well. However I probably can't afford it... Let's see where it slots... does it slot with M5 (can't afford) or does it slot with S6 (almost ordered one)? Regardless, just got my 5er a few months ago, so can't change any time soon anyways... Maybe I ll own one in 2.5 years. Of course by then, the new 5 series and E class will be out, and those may turn out to be better, so who knows. |

Humm, if it really does have the same engine at the same output, then ya, it would only probably be 10% more than the RC F, like how GS is about 10% more than the RC... That would put it pricewise at below S6. Not sure, that kind of sound low... Maybe the engine will out put 500+, and it ll be 80k+, who knows, will see.

When it comes to these bigger sedans, I tend to lean towards the new turbo technology. It is nice having gobs of torque driving a larger car around town.

Looks like any other Lexus front end.
However, I do love their front ends. With that said, yet to be enough car for the money. |

Looking forward to this release!
These Lexus threads can only go one way here, though. I'm sure when there's a GS-F VS M5 thread it will read identical to the RC-F VS M4 thread.

AYet we will have to see if they solve the issues with that motor reflected in the factory tune of the new Z06 and it losing power. I've owned two V Cadillacs in the past, but I'm a little weary of Cadillac (GM) right now with the concern over the Z06 tuning and the ATS's turbo motors blowing, multiple times in some cases, for several of customers. Will have to see what is actually produced vs the hype of pre-release.

I curse for about 45 minutes whenever I clean my wheels.
And with the glory that are BMW brakes, they need to be cleaned about every two weeks otherwise the wheels are an entirely different color... It's likely my worst first world problem. It's a heavy burden that I live with... |
