We show you the Belgium Royal Military Museum in Brussels...
Last year this time I traveled to Brussels to visit the Autoworld museum bc they had a very special display of Porsche's from around the world. It was AWESOME show. However I really wanted to go visit the military museum near the Autoworld - I simply ran out of time. We visit AUTOWORLD; Brussels, Belgium http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=942443 Recently I had the chance to go back to Brussels and finish up, some unfinished business. I am so glad I went back Brussels. Plus its always nice to visit old friends... so while I was in town, I also met with @Artemis , schlümpfy and @1mmaniac The Royal Belgium Military Museum was simply awesome. AND it was all free, except for a small display area on WWI and WWII. But that display was only 6 euros - so it was no big deal. I really enjoyed my day at this museum! Have a look for yourself. IF you are in the area... I highly recommend a visit. Actually I want to go back, because there is so much history in Brussels! It reminds me of a really old Washington DC with 400 year old trees. I really wasn't expecting to find so much American military stuff in this museum. I was pleasantly surprised by that. Its nice to see that the Belgians have not forgotten our sacrifices on past conflicts in Europe/Belgium. Dackel Royal Museum of the Armed Forces and Military History 1000 Brussels Belgium http://www.klm-mra.be/ Hours open: Mondays CLOSED Tuesday thru Sunday 10am to 6pm Entry is FREE!

Still... one of my all time favorite military museums in Europe. That says a lot... bc I seen a few good ones. I think Sinsheim rates a close 2nd.

Just FYI... on the first Wednesday of every month... this military museum has free admittance!
My suggestion would be to spend the half a day here and then go next door to the awesome Autoworld auto museum next door.
