Any referrals/preferences for PC hard drive data recovery?

Route 16 I got lei'd 865 Rep 7,609 Posts Drives: '10 E90 M3 Join Date: Sep 2011 Location: Dark Side of the Moon iTrader: (62)	Any referrals/preferences for PC hard drive data recovery? Basically had my '11 MacBook pro took a dump out of nowhere. Apple diagnostics says hard drive failed. No biggy but I want to at least salvage any possible data from the hard drive as much as possible. $2-3k data recovery quote, is not ideal to me.
