If you took the badge off I would guess Maserati. The last G37 coupe was weak compared to the G35 so they really needed to get this one right and I think they did a good job. My only complaint is that stupid kink they put on the c-pillar of all cars. Enough already. It looks like a Genesis coupe because of that single element.

If all Japanese, German, Italian, British and American cars look like Hyundai/Kia, it is because before that, first Hyundai/Kia copied every other brand.
Without the badge I wouldn't think the grill is Maserati, but rather Mazda. |

You don't see the resemblance? Which Mazda do you think this even mildly resembles?

Second to last side shot looks like a Genesis Coupe. Front def. looks like a Masi.
Either way, great looking car. Way better than the G37. Almost got one instead of the 128, until I drove it. Hopefully this will have some more spirit to the wheels. |

I like it! I cant wait to see the real Q60 production car. I had a G37 coupe and it was a great car, hopefully this one is even better.

It's sloppy and garish. Infiniti needs to scrap their language, focus on something new, and for god's sake, focus on some minimalism. They're like BMW when it comes to superfluous design.

Not a fan.
I probably fall into a small category but I think the g37 has superior style when compared to the g35 and to this. Like someone else mentioned, the biggest let down is that they are still using the vq37hr. Its great for what it is but they are going on 10 years and no change. Their whole lineup is build off of the same engine which is a huge disappointment to me. |

Its a shame what Nissan/Infiniti has become today.
I always felt that Nissan has the pedigree and know-how to take on some European marques but Nissan/Infiniti's strategy in N. America has failed due to improper strategy, marketing and applications. Infiniti was on a good one in early 2000s but has just been on a downhill since the G35. The G37 never quite had the same lure and the VQ family of engines by then, became desperate for something new. G35 was still the peak for me, the new one looks like its trying too hard. Here's mine from back in the day:

Yup, Infiniti has totally shifted its focus. They went from a viable alternative to BMW (used to call my G my poor man's 3 Series) to being obsessed with making stupid driver's aids for people who can't drive.
