Getting really tired
Of Canada's neutral ways, generally polite attitudes and milk in bags (which is an abomination!)
I'm not ok with this. |

Did you know they have the nerve to blend in with American culture and pass themselves off as one of us? Who the hell do they think they are?

Or were you adding to your initial observations, but in typical American fashion, were too lazy to hit the "edit" button? How's that for being polite eh? |

On a different note, do you know what I'm tired of?
I'm tired of hearing about the other political parties attacking the conservatives for the fact that some Canadians went to the front lines, were fired on by ISIS and because of that, they fired back and killed the ISIS fighters. At least the other side is wise enough to not be taking the viewpoint that we shouldn't have fired back...but what's the big deal about them going to the front lines from time to time. Yeah, maybe we said we wouldn't, but I'm betting that we weren't the only country up there (who said they wouldn't be up there). And I'm tired of ISIS. |

And which is it? ISIS or ISIL? I'm never sure if 'Merica should be fighting ISIS, ISIL, both, neither, or just the other party?????

Canada, the cold apartment above the party.
Interesting fact: Canada has more lakes than the rest of the countries on the planet, combined. Always wondered: Why do you need a passport to go to England if Canada is still part of the British Commonwealth?

Do Canadians think they are better Americans than Americans? I mean, Yeah, so what if you know what the Mason Dixon line is, or you can actually tell us what happened in the war of 1812, or knew that GWB was a dumbass before he was elected - that you're somehow better than us? You'll always be America's hat. |

Loved the beauty / scenery of Canada... did not love the system / politics at all. I have family there and they inform me consistently about the lovely health care system.

Otherwise, someone explain Curling to me? What are weird annoying things American's think of Canadians? Do you ever tell foreigners that you're American to seem cooler? |

1. Curling - I don't do it, can't explain it. 2. Americans seem to think Canada is perma cold...that's annoying. It really isn't. There are parts of America that are similarily cold (and no, not just Alaska). 3. Never. In fact I tell them I'm Canadian as I find that at times results in better treatment...once they find out I'm not American. |

2. Why do Americans say we talk funny!? Like, I've never pronounced "about" as "aboot"! 3. I'd never tell people I was American! On the contrary, when backpacking through Europe, I met lots of Americans who tell people they are Canadian to get treated better.

I can't see any benefit of pretending to be American when one is Canadian. Must have a funny death wish. For the rest of the things that you can't stand, we're sorry.
