E92 Color Ratings
Like 99% of you know im selling my car. This weekend is time to order a new one.
I am very confused about exterior color (and interior and a whole bunch of other stuff, but that's a different matter), and wanted to query to get your opinions. Rate the color from 1-5 (1 being horrible, 5 being awesome) based on: 1. looks 2. practicality 3. ability to hide imperfections (swirls, etc) These are the colors that I am considering and this is MY ratings of em: alpine white: looks 4 practicality 3 imperfections 4 (good with swirls, bad with chips) TiAG looks 2 - kinda boring IMHO practicality 5 imperfections 5 Space Gray looks 2 practicality 5 imperfections 4.5.. chips might show Crimson Red looks 5 practicality 3 imperfections 3 - non metallic Montego Blue looks 5 practicality - i have no clue imperfections - 3? idk that's all im considering... correct me if im wrong about any of em.. |

when you say chips i assume you are talking about paint chips (front bumper, etc.) white is actually probably the least revealing paint chip color of them all. considering when you chip it, the layer below is revealed which happens to be white. darker colors are probably much worse

If you want to be different, go with Crimson. I saw it today in South Carolina and I kept staring at it. Photo's never do justice. Really awesome.

Then go with Sparkling Graph. Space and Titanium are boring, typical colors. It's all up to you though.

Montego Blue
looks 4 (looks really good, but white or gray should be even easier to keep looking clean) practicality - 4 (if you needed to touch up, metallic is probably harder to fix) imperfections - 4 (chips are darker than the paint and aren't noticed unless you are really looking) |
