Lincoln Continental
Hate the wheels, but it'll be interesting to see what the final production model looks like.

Rear looks a lot like a Saab 95.

Maybe I'm really tired but I see some (new) Lagonda lines in that.
I'm not sure that's a good thing though.

S class coupe rear looks more like a 2003 Ford Taurus.

Seriously. Go look at it from the rear 3/4. The rear glass is virtually identical and the boot lid isn't far off. I had to google the S class coupe when you posted since I couldn't remember and that awful Taurus was the first thing that came to mind when I saw it.

Anyone care to venture a guess at the sticker? Approaching 6 figures (7-Series, S-Class range)? Or no?

I hope the power goes to the right wheels this time.
I think this is better than any sedan that Lincoln has right now, sadly. To bad Ford killed the LS that had potential. |

I would think at this point they have some base sticker price in mind. And I'm only asking for guesses.

It wears subtle, understated lines that draw more from the waistline of the beautiful but relatively obscure 1956 Continental Mark II than from the more iconic, more design-forward suicide-doored model introduced in 1961. But perhaps most representative of Lincoln’s schizophrenia is the response to nearly every question regarding this car’s clearly enumerated production-intent status: “It’s a concept.” Or, stated more plainly, “It’s just a concept.” Variations of this phrase were the sole response to questions about powertrain, pricing, features, and more. And these were the responses not of jaded communications reps, but of the executives, who moments before had emphasized that the Continental concept is, as I wrote several times in my notes, emphasizing their emphasis, a “very strong hint at a production car.” Those executives included Fields, but more importantly Kumar Galhotra, Lincoln’s president as of last September, a position he holds alongside his title of Ford Motor Company vice president, and Lincoln’s design director David Woodhouse."

So someone at AP is engaging in wishful-thinking/hearing-what-he-wants-to-hear? That wouldn't surprise me, but I guess we'll have to wait and see.
So *if* this car hits the assembly line sometime in the next few years, what's the guess as to sticker price? Seems like they're gunning for S-Class/7-Series status.
