Watched that this morning. My jaw dropped when he crashed. For a second I thought he was going over a cliff with a steep drop off. He is definitely lucky. He never was comfortable driving the GTR the way it was setup. He prefered the stock Nismo GTR over this setup. He was right, it isn't setup properly for PP

He said he went with the GT-R because of driver confidence. I guess that car gives too much confidence to even the best drivers. Glad he is ok and that little area wasn't full of water.
I think he would have been better with an EVO IX. |

It doesn't matter what car he picked if the suspension was setup as poorly and incorrectly as that car was the result would be the same.
Hear him saying the car just wants to under steer under steer under steer then snap overseer. He would have been much better with a stock setup |

According to his own admission he misjudged the corner, he seemed to like it after they adjusted the sway bars.
