I would have preferred to have seen the head to head at a decent track (Castle is pretty rubbish) and in the dry.
And Tiff should have at least asked someone how to pronounce "Specialie" correctly!
But still a fun race.

In reality, if Tiff had driven the Porsche, he would have won. Harris is a good driver but Tiff is one of the best.

I like Chris Harris' car reviews and he has some great commentary but as a driver Tiff is much better. Jason Plato was a more comparable driver to Tiff when they did track battles.

Yeah, Harris does compete in some racing nowadays but Tiff is highly experienced and one of the fastest drivers...he went on a Lambo racing team drove in the wet on a show and was getting faster times than the team's hotshot young drivers. Also in this vid, I think he let Harris pass to make it interesting..that last half lap had Tiff pulling away big time through the turns and the straights.

Tiff seemed he was being a little sloppy, to make the video more interesting.

I don't know about that...the Ferrari is much faster in a straight line. Just look at the race start and the straights. Tiff sandbagged a bit and let it get loose on him to make it interesting, but the Ferrari has a big performance advantage.

I met Tiff at a Porsche corporate track day years ago...was a genuinely nice person.

Also worth noting, is that Chris owns (or has owned) a GT3 RS himself... He's certainly no slouch though - I'm sure correcting that car from oversteer - at those speeds especially - takes skill...

I think the argument of "who is the better driver" is a moot point really, they are both IMO equally skilled and while I'd agree that Tiff made a point to drive the car in a more entertaining manner, the GT3 never stood a chance.

Id like to see a 10 lap showdown between the both in equal machinery

He had the 997.2 4.0. Now he drives a 991 GTS

Great vid. However, I would have liked to see the Speciale up against a GT3 RS.
