E36 M3 Sedan pricing Question

I realize this is not an E36 board, but I'd appreciate some input, please. I drive a 1997 M3 Sedan, and ordered a 335xi Coupe that I will take delivery of in three weeks.

I plan to sell the M3, which is in terrific shape, but am not sure how to price it. I live west of Boston, and the car has 76K miles, recent major tune up, Dinan CAI, 6 dic CD player, heated seats, and some other nice options. It is black with tan leather, and looks great. I'd appreciate any comments or input.

We just sold our 1997 M3 sedan in May for about 9/10k, but the car went through two accidents, so that took down the value a little bit.

KBB it and take it to carmax, that should give you a nice range of what to price it as.

Im no expert but id been around bimmerforums for awhile and they talk alot about E36s

so for your car i estimate you can probably get anywhere from 12-18K for...esp. if you car is in excellent condition, no dents damages.

You should def. check out www.bimmerforums.com

Go to www.bimmerforums.com

Probably biggest E36 site on the web.

If its a 5speed, with that mileage and if its in good shape id say over 15k.

People seem to love the sedan and they are pretty rare with manual i believe.

If it's a manual and at that mileage, it's worth a decent amount... I nearly paid $16k for a silver E36 M3 sedan here in CA... Only to find it had been in a minor accident and the guy was just kinda shady overall. But there are definitely people willing to pay a premium for those cars still. Heck if you were local I'd come and check it out myself.
