California Earthquake

1.5 magnitude in SoCal and a 4.0 magnitude in Fremont, CA just a few minutes ago. Is this a sign that the big one is about to roll through? I monitor our global Data Centers and got these alerts. Anyone feel them?

Makes me glad I'm in NJ.. Rather deal with the occasional hurricane and blizzard.

Didn't feel it. I'm about 15 mins from Fremont. People have been saying that the big one is due to hit (9.2 I believe?). That is one hella of a freaking quake. Now where is Dwayne Johnson when you need him?

Hardly worth losing any sleep over.

That said, you should always have an earthquake kit with you.

Non-westcoasters always say that, but they get pounded by the bitter cold, blizzards, hurricanes, tornadoes, etc. year-in, year-out.

And there earthquakes in the east as well: http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/n...usgs/12793009/

Same here, been lagging on that earthquake kit I've been telling myself to put together. I think the big one is coming to us soon man. I live about 10 miles from downtown LA.

HA HA!

I got called off a plane onto the tarmac because my suitcase was "making noise". They would not take off with it like that. Luckily it was just my toothbrush turned on by accident.

Wonder how many vibrator calls like this happen?!?
