Reliable company to ship vehicle?
I've always driven my cars home, but I may ship this one.
What companies have you had good experiences with and what did it end up costing? I'd like to go enclosed, but not if it's going to be an insane amount. This would be shipped from NM to PA. |

I plan on using Montway in the near future from to CA to MI.
I think most of the highly rated shipping companies online are brokers, so they contract to other drivers. Which means luck of the draw..but had good success with Montway in the past. Hard part was scheduling for pick-up. |

I used Montway from Cali to Pa. I chose them bc they allowed me to keep "personal items" in my car, aka i was moving and they let me pack it with all my belongings. I paid ~$1100ish. Solid communication. If your car wont have anything in it. There are cheaper options for sure.

These guys definitely seem legit but price of 2095 from CA to MI is outside of my budget. |

My best 2 quotes are my friend's guy & Stateway @ $1,200 & $1,045.
Don't get me wrong, I prefer enclosed, but the cost gap is too much. That's mod money! |

Just used them to ship my Hennessey Z28 from Houston, TX to Charlotte, NC... everything went very smooth... Was in constant contact with the driver...

Go pick up a Hemmings Auto News magazine. Look in the back for shipping companies that have handled many exotics and classic cars. They aren't that expensive. I think in the $1,500 range.
Only ship the car in an enclosed(!) trailer. I remember when the 1M came out... someone shipped a car across country in the wintertime. They ended up going with an open trailer - when the car arrived it was COVERED in crap. The trailer had no wheel well(mud flaps) and the wheels threw up so much crap on that poor 1M. The car ended up having to be painted(I think). My choices would be... reliablecarriers.com horselesscarriage.com
