My take on the Porsche Boxster GTS
I drove a Porsche Boxster GTS earlier this year. This is my take on it:
[u2b][/u2b] Also check out the short article I wrote about it: http://autobahn-club.com/news/porsche-boxster-gts/ Thanks

Thanks. Unfortunately I have no plans in testing the Coupe this year. Maybe a GT4 but I doubt that I will have it this year.

That motor looks like it revs really quickly to redline. The car has 330hp but does it "feel" faster than the numbers say? How is the torque? I drove a Boxster S (have not driven GTS) while the car is awesome in many ways I just feel it lacks a bit of torque down low. I believe the GTS has about 7 lb-ft more and hope Porsche change the torque delivery to give it more kick lower in rpm.

BTW I am driving the GT3 at the moment and it's everything but torquey. No much happens below 5k RPM. But it's fun But I would never buy it for my home in LA. But you will hear more about it when I do my review. Thanks for the questions

It sounds a bit like a 2-stroke dirt bike when lifting off the throttle, which I personally like. Unfortunately, the sound doesn't quite match what my eyes are seeing. Take for example minute 2:07 through 2:12 of the video... You can hear the car approaching before the car enters the scene. I was expecting to see the car rip past the camera in a flash. Instead, it rolled by at a snail's pace. While that was disappointing, I'd still love to have the car.
