Which 7 Seater

Since i don't think there is a BMW 7 seater in the US,
here goes the thread
which 7 seater would you get as below from the list or you got other suggestions?

7 seater because i need the space, 2 toddlers and we like to travel by driving when destination not too far, so gotta carry a shit load of stuff and atleast 1 stroller.
also my parents visit from time to time by flying here so it's great to travel all in one car.

below is what have come to my mind, not really fond of japanese 7 seaters, can't tell you why

putting the Escalade there to see how many interests, but a bit too much$$ for me

some may say that these cars are not comparable, but i just want to know, in general preference, what is your pick

**Forgot to include the LR4 in the Poll**

Total package, if no off road duties, is the new Volvo XC90.
It's got everything imo. Looks, quality fit and finish. The interior is that of a much more expensive vehicle. Unreal sound system and infotainment. The third row is actually doable for adults. Feature after feature. And of course safety features list a mile long.

Savile grey with amber leather. Inscription trim level. 64K.
Momentum trim around 55K.

Bargain bang bang no brainer.

Honda Odyssey. Elite trim with black exterior, people will think POTUS is riding in back. It will start and run every day just as it did when you drove it off the lot. It will shrug off the beating your kids and stuff will give it. It will have a surprisingly high residual when you trade it in on the 4-door ///M you really wanted. You'll find yourself missing it when its gone.

Don't get me wrong, the Tahoe is a solid choice.
No clue where you are but if in dallas go sit in the volvo. That's it. Just sit in it.

They will have 2nd row captains chairs. Excellence trim I think.

The leather and stiching. The wood. What I think is one of the best dashboard layouts on the market. Huge touch screen. 1700 watt bowers and wilkins sound system. Auto fold seats. Leg swipe rear hatch. Just so much stuff for the money. I think they UNDER priced it. I never say that lol.
And it's damn good looking.

Good luck.

I'd go Volvo. Looks good. Drives really well. Really comfortable. Would be perfect if it had a V8.

Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade are for the most part the same car underneath, just different interior trim, build, and exterior styling elements that are associated with each brand. Don't get me wrong, I love the Tahoe to death, but if I wanted to get one to my spec, I don't think the cost is justifiable.

That being said, they're big, heavy (safe) vehicles. They can hold a lot of people and stuff, without feeling stuffy. Fold the seats down, and you go yourself a nice utility vehicle too. And, it blends in well. Fuel economy is little worrisome, but oh well.

If you ain't afraid of Benz, the GL is also a solid choice. Might not be the prettiest thing out there, but from a practicality standpoint, it shines. Big boot, comfy seats, loads of toys.

Yup. You need a minivan.

We recently had our second (boys are now 2 yrs and the other 4 mths) and we had considered a larger SUV with 7 seats.

Ended up getting an odyssey and it has been absolutely phenomenal!! Even the wife loves it and she was very against a minivan at first.

Just read last week from Consumer Reports that the Escalade and its cousins from SUV's to pickups have chassis issues - Google should not be hard to find the text.

Mercedes offer excellent Road Side Assistance and there stuff is well made even U.S. built.

Voted for the GL. The gf and I are currently in the market and deciding between a GL and a full size Range Rover but I can't believe the RR doesn't offer a proper third row as an option.

I'll be going down this path next year for a new car for the wifey... the new XC90 is a beauty in the flesh, just need to decide if it is big enough.

If you want medium Crossover get the GL
If you want big and snob get the Escalade.
If you want to be stranded in the middle of the road get a Tahoe or Suburban
If you want reliability and endurance get a 2015 Toyota Landcruiser for around $70 to $80k
