Cool U.S. owners taking delivery of 1-series coupes starting today!

This lucky guy got his 135i coupe this morning a week before the official March 22 launch date. Looks like we're going to have a new smaller brother driving around on the roads

I'm not a fan of the look of the 1er. But I love the dash layout. It's like an updated e46 dash.

Completely agree. Seeing this makes me realize how much they screwed up the interior design with the e90. Please BMW, bring back the driver centric cockpit - it looks like you are slowly moving back to it with this design.

Dash almost looks like a cross between the E46 and the current X3. Very Nice! Can't say the same for the exterior, but its not bad given the surface area they had to work with. All in all, I bet its a blast to drive.

I must say, not bad at all. Exterior wise it could have been designed a little better, but not bad overall.

The cars were only released from port for delivery yesterday, so those must have been BMW NA cars.

Maybe for the Rags to test, I think they're all out in Cali.

As for mini sales, I doubt there will be any impact. The 1'ers are 10k+ more expensive.

They're bringing so few into the country, it won't have much of an impact on anything. BMW is planning on selling more M3s than 135i coupes, so I wouldn't expect much of any canabilization, up or down.

It's definitely going to be the next big cult car for BMW owners.
It's a younger demography over there.

HA! more m3s?? who are they kidding. I still see the 3 m3s at sterling they've had for the past week and a half almost. No one has seem to have bit the bullet yet.

Not a fan of the interior actually. I like the more 'executive' feel of the e90, a lot like the 7 series.

Can't help but feel gipped on the braking set up though. Wish my 335i would've come with brembos (don't the 1's?) stock.
