My supercar dilemma! Help Me.
So im planning on getting a supercar by the end of the year and have multiple options but its so hard to choose!
My Options With Cons And Pros: 1- Porsche 911 Turbo Pros: Good Fuel Economy, Can be Daily Driven, Has Rear Seats, Fast... very fast, Good Looks Cons: Doesnt Sound That Good, Not Keen To Rev Because Its Turbocharged. 2- Audi R8 V10 Plus Pros: Fastest Car In The list,Good Looks, High Revving V10, Naturally Aspirated Cons: Can Be Daily Driven But Hardly, Really Bad Fuel Economy, No Back Seats. 3- Porsche 911 GT3 Pros: High Revving F6,Good Looks,Sounds Good. Cons: Unusable Back Seats, Cant Be Daily Driven, Not That Fast 4- Mercedes AMG GTR Pros: Amazing Looks, Lots Of Active Areo dynamics, fast, can be daily driven Cons: likely to be heavy even with a 100KG weight Loss,Not Thats Fast Compared to other cars on the list, no back seats. The Cars That Compete With Each Other Are: AMG GTR VS 911 GT3. R8 V10+ VS 911 Turbo. ? All Cars Will be 2017/2018 Models ? Porsches Will Be 991.2 ? AMG GTR Comes Out In June With Expected Deliveries Towards The End Of The Year. ? Maximum Budget Is 650,000 Riyal Which Is Equivalent To 190K USD Give Opinions Below: |

Now you have a beyond first world dilemma to spend some hard-earned or not hard-earned $US 190k... But for what purpose? Is it just to have or do you and your other similarly-affluent friends and kin get together and impress each other? Or, are you collecting cars like some collect watches? Your $US 190k is, in relative terms, maybe $2k for some of us watch guys here on the forum. I'm not going to judge you, because you genuinely seem like a chill dude whom happens to love cars and have loot. I'd love to be in that position one day too. But here's where I will provide unsolicited advice. Your plea for "help" comes off disingenuous. It's not a rub in the mass' face at all, but it's the vehicle by which you provide immediacy and request for actual help. If I had to guess, you're probably bored...and it's nice to share your next purchase with others. And while you're not necessarily boasting, you are putting it out there for everyone to say, "wow". And for nothing more than to share your excitement. I'm the last of a former large circle of guy friends whom modify their cars. I know the feeling....sort of. I'm guessing it's all innocent. And again, not judging. Next time, you can get the same effect you're looking for and perhaps more constructive feedback if you just came out straight up or even with just a poll instead of framing it as "help me find a car....my budget is (only) $US190k." Which, if you ask me, is just an arbitrary figure. I'm quite sure you can get more. I am hopeful that you find value in my ramblings above. And dude, if I were you, I'd just get the most obnoxious vehicle in the group. Probably the AMG GTR. Or, I'd get a contrarian car like a Corvette Z06 and send it to Hennessy to boost up to 1000hp before shipping it to KSA. Honestly, in your circle, I'd probably ditch that shopping cart you just bought, add it to your $US 190k purse and get a Lamborghini. ANY Lamborghini. It's par for the course. I've worked with folks from the Kingdom as well as UAE in the past. Get something better than or at least on par as some of the local police cars.... Best wishes man! |

Worrying about fuel economy in KSA is like worrying about getting laid when you've got a harem.
Theoretical. |

2- If you own a supercar you cant resist to drive like lunatic and you need good fuel economy Another friend of mine has a 675LT and drives it everyday and he gets 450KM from a full tank with a mix of highway/city driving and the car was in the highest gear with every setting on normal. His Instagram is @themaverique if you want to check him out |

LC500 gets my vote. It's supposed to be the follow-on to the LF-A.
The engine is now aft of the front wheels. 10 speed tranny proven V8 titanium valve engine (throttle response is unbeatable) lexus says its the most stiffest chassis they've ever made, more so than the LF-A aluminum suspension carbon fiber roof composite floor boards lexus engineers spent 3 times the effort tuning the handling dynamics of this car to "get it right". it benchmarks the 6 series. low slung roof even lower than 6 series. lastly, lexus is bulletproof as hell. You won't have to worry about high maintenance/out-of-pocket costs. oh, have you seen the interior? It's fucken gorgeous, leather wrapped like a bentley. You just have to get past the front predator grill. |

Supercar thread and buys a Porsche 911 Turbo? Misleading title for sure.
I know Arabic references pretty much everything in terms of the almighty, but really, how many people over there are ACTUALLY religious? I know your culture forces you to pretend--my trading partner in China told me that his Muslim clients (he has a lot, from several middle east countries) are extremely devout when they visit him as a pair or group, but when they are by themselves, they almost UNIVERSALLY forget about all that bullshit . |
