Gosford Classic Car Museum - Sydney.

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
I was lucky to visit the Gosford Classic Car Museum, located north of Sydney, Australia, is the home of one of the world's best private car (and motorcycle) collection, owned by Entrepreneur Tony Denny.

It's a must-see museum for all cars lovers in Sydney, Australia and overseas! Admission is only $20 (online).

It comprises of more than 500 cars, 35 of which are Ferraris, including the very sought after F40, F50, Enzo and LaFerrari. It also houses a nice collection of BMW's including the 3.0 CS, E30 M3, E28 & E34 M5, E24 M635 CSI, M Coupe and Roadster... You can see other great cars in the photos below!

More information on this extraordinary collection here: http://gosfordclassiccarmuseum.com.au/

And a nice article here: http://www.drive.com.au/motor-news/i...30-gp7ot5.html

To keep the collection dynamic, some of its cars are for sale. I saw a (modified) E30 M3 and a 3.0 CS (automatic).

Enjoy the pics!

Holy crap! I might need to go for a road trip. Standouts from your photos are the green '69 Mustang, Jag XJ220, Ferrari F40, MB 300SL and the Aston Martin DB5. The swirl marks on the Lamborghini Miura upset me though.

Definitely worth spending a couple of days (or several visits there) if you want to really have a good look at the cars... About how they are, I need to say that they are not all in concours condition. Some appear to have been restored to a very high standard (the 300SL, Jaguars and Aston DB5). Others look to be an older restoration (Miura) and some unrestored... I do like these differences as an original car can be very attractive with the patina. They all look to be in good mechanical order...

The things that annoyed me were a few mistakes on the description of the cars and not enough history about each important cars such as the Miura, 300SL etc... Also for example the E30 M3 didn't seem to be original (wheels, stance...) something that could have easily been remedied...

But all in all, a cracker of a museum and private collection. The supercars were a standout!

Yeah,I was very surprised. But then the owner has a house in Gosford. Also for practical and economic reasons, it would be too expensive to buy such a large building to house these cars in Sydney!

Looks like my post made the headlines !

To the people living nearby it's the best $20 you'll ever spend if you are a car fanatic! I will come back for sure! Arguably the best private car collection in Australia and one of the best in the world!
