I love watching this every year, and this year Ian Hutchinson is owning it. But I have such a hard time understanding anything these guys are saying . They're all speaking english, and I have to focus really hard to understand anything at all.

I get anxiety just watching it. Those speeds are incomprehensible.

The on-bike footage is awesome and crazy. I have a hard time wrapping my head around the speed these guys carry on narrow concrete wall lined meandering streets. Batshit crazy just about covers it

Truly epic.......and borderline suicidal.
The speeds achieved on these roads is simply amazing....I'm in awe of the skill and talent required to survive the TT.

Even if the course were closed off, it would take me hours to complete a lap. I was always taught to keep both tires firmly connected to the road surface, unless I'm riding dirt.

That's awesome. I can only imagine things are pretty well shut down for the week (?)

The only reason I know anything about the Isle of Man is the TT and Mark Cavendish. The TT is one of those things I want to go see someday.

it gets very busy- cars and bikes - great atmosphere though.

always too many accidents and people killed needlessly.

At one time it was on my bucket list! That is an amazing course. Time and reason have taken it off my bucket list.

I'm not even a bike guy but I watch the TT every year and will make the short hop one year!

You just can't even comprehend how fast they will have to react and think. In this video of guy Martin (legend) all you can really focus on is the other bike cause everything else is just blur!

Agreed! They all sound (and many look the part) of the Pikey's in Snatch

That was INCREDIBLE! Thanks for sharing. The camera doesn't do the elevation changes justice.

As a long time rider and sports bike enthusiast, I'm always in awe of this event. The level of skill and technicality is truly amazing. I would consider myself a fairly advance rider and watching these events makes me feel like a beginner. Its on my bucket list to attend the race in the future.
