Saw it Friday and really enjoyed it! I have never played the game so no bias.
It simply does everything an "Action Fantasy" should do and then some. Unfortunately, it did not do too great here in the states opening weekend going up against The Conjuring 2. America is pretty infatuated with Horror Movies! I plan to see it as well. But in Asia, Warcraft was a huge success, raking in over $156M!
If you like the genre, I highly recommend it!

Heard it is not worth watching in theaters so I'm holding off. Was looking forward to it.

How many of you have never played the game? I'm curious what non-gamers think of this movie. Almost everything I've heard about it is it's confusing and convoluted if you don't at least have some background idea of what's going on.

Having played the game extensively back in the day, I also really enjoyed this movie! They did a great job transforming the landscape and story-line into a movie. I'm thinking it won't be as good for people who have never played.

I have NEVER played the game and REALLY enjoyed this movie!

Interesting, reviews are pretty terrible and from what I've heard you pretty much have to be a fan of the games to appreciate the movie.

I've played all the games, but haven't in a long time. Maybe I'll check it out.

Having played the game since I was a teen, the movie was bad ass. I hope they continue to produce the entire story line, I'll definitely keep watching!!

If there isn't a "zug zug" or a "swobu" then it's a total failure as far as i'm concerned.

I can easily see BLIZZARD making this a "franchise movie" with at least 3 more sequels! I hope they do at least 3 like LOTR!
