Agreed. Cleveland got red-light camera's as well as speed zone cameras about 2-3 years ago. I can't imagine they are working as well as they did the first few months now 2 years later. I know where every single one is and I am very careful to not speed through them or run that light. I also keep an eye on cars in front and behind me while pulling up to redlight camera intersections, which you should be doing anyways but people are dumbasses and always slam their brakes there.
1 city near me has mobile cameras that they move around in mini-vans and throw up where ever they want. Those things fucking suck. There supposed to be in clear site but they always hide them behind cars, bushes, or lightpoles, basically where ever you won't be trying to find them. Speed cameras FTMFL

London has cameras all over
now they even have spkrs/mics in em. They can talk to you. Its always under watch. Even over the past 4 yrs, Tokyo has gotten an increase of cameras not just radar and stop light cameras but the city. I knw its a bit off topic but the new era of being watched ;+)

so I say they are working based on your comments, it make you slow down and be more careful. However, like you said, those who are not paying attention can rear end those who are following the laws

but the problem is they work so well that the states cant give tickets and now aren't making any $ off of tickets. Time to find another way to squeeze $ out of people.
But I agree the cameras were intended to keep the roads safe... Thats what the law is for not to make money. Sadly I'm sure we've all been subjected to unfair tickets... We may have deserved it but some of the fines are absurd. I did 15 over on I95 in CT, $300 no points (thank you NY for not accepting other states points). But in most states my friends have paid $100 for doing 95 in a 65... So i got ripppped was a mail me ticket, just pay and go cuz it was thanksgiving and they knew i was out of state. Point is the law has become a revenue, shame.

Yeah sure it works in those 30 yard sections. After that it's all for me.
