Lease Transfer BMWFS: How Long?

Has anybody transferred a lease? If so, how long did it take from the start until the car was transferred into your name?

I'm hoping about 2 weeks. But wondering if anybody can chime in on recent real world examples. Thanks.

Wow, that's awesome. So if I start the process Monday I could have it ready in a week?

Garage List
Once the person is approved it is a very fast process. You can make it even faster by Overnighting the documents.

yes, as long as both parties pay to have the documents overnighted, if you start it Monday it should be done by the following Monday. If i remember correctly i started mine on a wednesday/thursday and it was complete the following thursday

Just did a lease transfer couple of months ago and it went very quick & smooth. The new owner was off in their new car in 4 business days. That was due to both parties being diligent.

I've had two occurrences in the past year that started the lease assumption process on Monday (stage 1) morning, and then lease assumption complete (stage 3) by that Friday. In both cases new owner was picking up their car on day of assumption complete.

To speed up the process I recommend to send stage 2 docs (release/signing) next day air to BMWFS in Ohio.
