Maserati GranTurismo MC review by Car Magazine UK

What a beautiful review on the most beautiful car in production IMO! Enjoy the read!

I saw that earlier today, really well written. And yes a brilliant car.

Always loved the GranTurismo but it is a solid 5 years overdue for a redesign.

Frankly I wouldn't change much on the body, maybe new rear lights, the weak part of the design. But with the Giulia's architecture it would be a hell of a car!

My Dad owns one, and I'm lucky enough to drive it quite a bit. I absolutely love the car, but as mentioned the tech is pretty disappointing. It does not have bluetooth audio, and I can't even get my phone to play music through the aux port. The climate control and infotainment system are not up to snuff for such a high end car. The rest of the interior is beautiful though.

I don't seem to experience the issues they described with the transmission, but I am always in sport mode and use the paddles when I drive it. It could definitely use an extra gear though.

What I love about the car is the beautiful, classy styling, and the sound from the V8 is like nothing else. In sport mode the exhaust is much louder, and just intoxifying. It's shortcomings are not anything my Dad cares about so the car is perfect for him.

Nothing wrong with having an older tech car, especially with this intoxicating engine!

I just can't stand the tuck. Wheels need a bit more poke to augment the stance.
