Well it didn't mention anything about the population in California. It's the most populous state in the country. Of course it'll have a high number of collisions compared to other states. Lived here pretty much all my life. For me New York City and Bostons tops as far as aggressive drivers. Miami not far behind.

Absolute BS, Florida drivers are the most vapid, idiotic people ever placed in moving objects. I do everything in my power to get clear of FL plates in any traffic situation.
Oklahoma drivers are a close second. |

I've lived and driven in Boston for almost my entire life (decades) before relocating to Seattle. Drivers in Boston might be aggressive, but they are FAR worse drivers out here in WA, by a huge margin. As for Florida, I've had a pistol pointed at me, my wife, and my two young daughters in car seats on our way to Disney, because (apparently) somebody didn't like the way I merged onto the highway (and I was not remotely cutting anybody off). Virginia only has so many speeding citations because radar detectors are illegal there.

I agree with above, FL should have been one of the worst.

Lived in ND for a few years courtesy of the USAF, and the drivers there were fucking terrible. Easily some of the worst I've ever seen. So I can vouch for that one.

That's true, I'm curious where you'd pull such statistics. It's easy to pull what they did and rank states based off that, but while factoring in mileage would be more accurate it'll be harder to accurately find those statistics reliably. I'm sure someone's done it though.

I feel so vindicated. Even if my own state is ninth.

I assumed the list was based on where people hog the left lane most. It was equally bad in every state I have driven. At least in southern California people usually don't drive at 65 in the left lane.

I am literally not surprised Cali ended up 2nd.
The amount of older, Asian drivers, pick-up truck drivers that cannot drive around here is in mass.
