DST issues

I'm in CST, and have my profile set as such. When I turn DST on, it advances the time by an hour. When I have it off, it sets it as the correct time. Is it supposed to work that way?

Yeah, but I thought that if it was "on", it autocorrects for the time so I wouldn't have to go back and manual change it....much like Windows when one enables the function.
