I thought I would really hate the no ipod intergration, but with sirius I hardly bother with my ipod. At least around town.
The only problem is the sound quality sometimes.

After reading all the complaints about iPod non integration, I was expecting a major problem. Turns out that when my iPod is in an armband holster, it sits up well in the cupholder. (One advantage of the shallow, cage style holder) If I plug in a charger cord through the bottom, it's anchored in. While the Aux plug is far in the back, my male-male cable is long enough to reach. (Easy, Shim). I can read the text at least as well at that orange text, though usually don't have to make adjustments since all I have to do is launch a playlist.

Amazingly, there are times when at least 3 of my Sirius stations are on commercial simultaneously...Why is all this such a big deal? I do spend an hour and a half a day in the car.

I didn't realize BBC had a Sirius station. Which one is that?

don't forget to go ask them to turn on the playboy channel for you!

it's free, you just have to hop on the website or call to have it turned on

not really sure what good a playboy channel on the radio is, but since it's free i sure as hell want it

I'm over commercial radio, 13*12 bucks a year is worth it to me to minimize commercials

(not like there aren't commercials on sat radio, but way less than testicle radio)

1. What is testicle radio?

2. Sat radio has tons of commercials (even on the music channels). The only difference is that the only commercials on the music channels are for other stations. They are more annoying, though, because you keep hearing the same ones over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over . . . .

where are you hearing tons of commercials? Do you mean the DJ's coming on and talking in between songs?

I actually have grown to enjoy most of the people on the stations I listen to, sort of gives the radio a bit more human touch and they're never really talking longer than 30 sec to a min max.

I haven't listened to testicle radio since Howard came over in January

Testicle radio is a term popularized by a caller to Howard for 'Terrestrial Radio'.

The only testicle radio I listen to is the local AM sports station WNST 1570. FM radio is doomed IMO. CBS's radio division reported losses of $9 Billion dollars. Doomed I tell you.

Anything on a satellite radio music station other than music is a commercial. If I wanted to hear someone talk, I would turn to the talk station. Plus the DJs they get for satellite radio are the rejects that can't get jobs at real radio stations. They sound like complete idiots.

This isn't limited to Sirius either. XM is the same way. That whole lie they tell about no commercials is complete crap. Someone ought to sue them for false advertising.
