Bode Miller: American Disgrace
There is nothing to be ashamed about in competing in the Olympics and not coming home with a medal. In his own words, Bode says "I rocked here" and "awesome" when speaking about his 2006 Olympic experience. Further solidifying his name among Olympic greats, Bode went on to say...
"Look at what happened to Rahlves. He was holed up in his RV, he's probably the fittest guy out here and he made a point of talking about how important the Olympics were to him, and then look -- a little bad luck and he's got nothing to show for the whole thing. For me, it's been an awesome two weeks, I got to party and socialize at an Olympic level." Every comment this guy made, and every DQ or crash he ended each run with just showed the world the definition of Ugly American. Hopefully he gets booted from the US Ski Team and Nike yanks their sponsorship. Then he can live in his RV by day, and party by night. Ditto for the tiara-wearing Julia Mancuso. </rant>

yeah, bode is a joke. i love how he's giving all those motivational speeches in those nike commercials and yet, he's a drunk failure. he was trying to get known as the athlete who could drink, compete and win at the same time, but instead, he got known as just a drunk.

From Leno:
"Bode Miller was stranded in the airport on his way back from Italy." "Apparently he couldn't make his connections cuz he kept missing the gate." |

two thigns to say. first, he said "i didnt come to torino to win a gold medal" ... why the fuck would we send somebody who doesnt care. secondly hes a douchebag. i was listening to his radio show and he played a gangster rap song and said it reminded him of the competitive ski tour because he claims he never knows where he is gonna stay night to night, and spends alot of time sloshing around not knowing what is goign to happen next. he portrayed himself liek he has such a hard time and needs to sleep on park benches. bastart makes probably well over amillion a year and is trying to claim he lives such a rough, poverty addled life.
